Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or closed toe shoes. 1 Open the hood and locate the header panel. 2 Inspect the header panel for damage. 3 Remove the front grille retaining screws and then the grille. 4 Disconnect all electrical connectors from the vehicle's headlights. 5 Remove the headlight assemblies from the header panel. 6 Remove the header panel from the front of the vehicle. 7 Install new header panel. 8 Reinstall headlight assemblies in the header panel. 9 Reconnect all the electrical connectors to the headlight assemblies. 10 Reinstall the front grille assembly. 11 Close the hood and verify proper alignment of the repair.
