Where is the crankshaft sensor located on a 2003 Mazda Tribute 3.0L and how do you change it out?

It is at the bottom front of the engine.

CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR

Removal and Installation 

Raise and support the vehicle.

Remove the bolts and the right front lower splash shield.

1. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the sensor.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
