Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or closed toe shoes. 1 Remove the door handles and switches. Carefully remove the door trim panel. Photo may not be specific to your vehicle 2 Remove the vapor barrier. 3 Disconnect the glass from window regulator. 4 Tape the glass to door frame. The glass should not require removal. 5 Disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor. 6 Remove the window regulator mounting bolts.
