Window Regulator with Motor Replacement

Remove the door handles and switches. Carefully remove the door trim panel.

Remove the vapor barrier.

Disconnect the glass from window regulator.

Tape the glass to door frame. The glass should not require removal.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the window motor.

Remove the window regulator mounting bolts. Slide the window regulator with motor out through the interior access opening of the door.

Install the new window regulator with motor and tighten the mounting bolts.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the window motor.

Install the window back onto the window regulator.

Re-install the vapor barrier.

Re-install the door trim panel, handles and switches.

Test the power window for proper operation by rolling the window up and down in complete cycles for proper testing.
