Brake Light Bulb Replacement
Safety Tip:Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or closed toe shoes.

Turn the key to the on position.

Depress the brake pedal.

Have an assistant inspect your tail lights and locate the burned out brake light bulb.

Turn key to the off position.

To gain access to brake light bulb, remove the lens assembly.

Remove the wiring harness from the lens assembly.

Disconnect the brake light bulb from the wiring harness.

Install the new brake light bulb.

Reconnect the wiring harness to the lens assembly.

Inspect the assembly housing gasket or seal for any damage or cracks - replace as required.

Reinstall the lens assembly.
12
Depress the brake pedal and have an assistant verify repairs.
